Half way through the year and so far we have no complaints with the music being release in 2008. We have a few favorite albums so far and will play a couple of songs from those in this episode such as Thao Nguyen with the Get Down Stay Down. We are also going to pay tribute to ska/reggae legend Desmond Dekker and try to put the spot light on a couple of home town bands from Washington DC including Julie Ocean. We even have a new release from The BPA, a pretty interesting a collaboration of music giants. Sorry the large amount of iTunes links this show, but Amazon while still my favorite place to buy music (did we every tell you how much we hate DRM) is still a little short on their catalog, especially for more obscure acts.
