Half Hour Music Hour – Ep. 18 – Race Around The World

We really don’t have any idea how a particular show is going to sound when we start and don’t even have a theme usually in mind. In general we take all of the music we have been listening to lately, mix in a little bit of stuff that friends and listeners send out way, and finally get stuff directly from bands and labels. Once we get that all we just listen to that list all week slowly widdling it down. Sometimes though certain trends do emerge. In this episode, no such thing really happened but we did wind up with a tight albeit it a little short show. We have some stuff from 2008 standouts Mates of State and Sigur Ros. We have a great couple of tunes from two bands from MySpace, Ireland’s Screaming Orphans and France’s Ye Ye. We also have HHMH alums We Are Scientists and of course Swedish stars, Friska Vijor. So let’s get on with the show…
